Journey into the highlands of Pucamarca and Cuper, where sacred lagoons, alpacas, and ancient terraces reveal the living spirit of the Andes.
Connect with Andean spirituality through a traditional Pachamama offering guided by a Q’eros representative, then discover ancestral weaving techniques with local artisans in Chinchero.
Savor a traditional Pachamanca before creating your own ceramic piece inspired by pre-Hispanic traditions at Cerámicas Seminario in Urubamba.
More than a cultural experience, this is an invitation to connect, create, and carry a piece of Andean wisdom with you.
This experience takes place in the Andean highlands, reaching approximately 3,800 meters (12,467 feet) above sea level in Pucamarca.
Activities are designed at a relaxed and accessible pace, allowing ample time to enjoy both the landscapes and cultural experiences. Comfortable layered clothing and regular hydration are recommended throughout the day.
Year-Round Availability
This experience operates throughout the year thanks to the continuous availability of the cultural spaces, artistic workshops, and community-based activities included in the program.
Rainy Season (January – March)
During these months, the Andean landscapes become exceptionally lush, and the region’s lagoons are particularly scenic. Due to the variable mountain weather, lightweight waterproof clothing and comfortable footwear with good traction are recommended for outdoor activities.
Advance Reservation
Because of the coordination required for the traditional ceremony, Pachamanca preparation, and private access to Cerámicas Seminario, reservations should be made 7 to 10 days in advance.
Logistics
As the first portion of the experience takes place at approximately 3,800 meters (12,467 feet) above sea level, we recommend spending one to two days acclimatizing in Cusco or the Sacred Valley before participating in this experience.
