This experience takes place in the Andean highlands and reaches approximately 3,762 meters (12,343 feet) above sea level in Chinchero.
The ATV ride and cultural visits require minimal physical effort. However, due to the altitude and changing mountain weather, we recommend wearing comfortable layered clothing and staying hydrated throughout the day.
Recommended Season (May – October)
The dry season offers excellent conditions for ATV riding, with firmer trails, clear skies, and exceptional views across the Sacred Valley.
Rainy Season (November – April)
The experience continues to operate during the rainy season, when the landscapes become lush and vibrant, offering a different perspective of the Andean countryside.
Due to seasonal rainfall, we recommend bringing waterproof clothing, an extra change of clothes, and appropriate footwear for wet conditions. In the event of heavy rain, certain sections of the route may be completed by private vehicle for safety reasons.
Advance Reservation
To guarantee ATV availability, private guide coordination, and the organization of the cultural visit in Chinchero, reservations should be made at least 72 hours in advance.
Recommended Acclimatization
As the experience takes place above 3,500 meters (11,483 feet) above sea level, we recommend spending at least one day acclimatizing in Cusco or the Sacred Valley before participating, ensuring a more comfortable and enjoyable experience.
