Your experience begins before sunrise with a private transfer to Pacchanta. As the first light of day illuminates the mountain range, you will enjoy a breakfast prepared with local ingredients before setting out on the trek.
The route follows the spectacular Seven Lakes Circuit, where glacier-fed lakes such as Pucacocha, Patacocha, and the Otorongo Lakes mirror the imposing presence of Ausangate. Along the trail, snow-capped peaks, alpine grasslands, and grazing alpacas create an unforgettable mountain landscape.

The morning begins with breakfast at camp before ascending toward Palomani Pass, the highest point of the expedition at approximately 5,200 meters (17,060 feet) above sea level.
From this spectacular mountain pass, you will enjoy some of the finest views of Ausangate and the surrounding mountain range. After taking time to appreciate the scenery, the route descends toward Inca Cárcel, where lunch is served amid unusual and dramatic rock formations.
In the afternoon, the trek continues to Soraypata, a valley of remarkable natural beauty characterized by small alpine lakes, sweeping grasslands, and occasional encounters with local shepherds.
The day concludes with dinner and your final night of camping in the Andes.
On your final morning in the mountains, you will enjoy breakfast before beginning the hike toward Jampa Pass. From this vantage point, sweeping views reveal the mountain range and the valleys traversed during the previous days of the expedition.
After lunch, you will begin the final descent to Pacchanta, where the trek comes to an end and private transportation awaits for the return journey to Cusco.
